Church of Martin Luther

Martin Luther Church combines elements of the Neo-Romanesque and Neo-Gothic styles. Multi-colored glass stained-glass windows depict scenes from the life of Christ.

The Martin Luther-Kirche church was built in 1833-1877 in Dresden in the center of the small Martin-Luther-Platz square. This is the Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Martin Luther's church seems simply gigantic compared to neighboring buildings. Also, like most Protestant churches of that period, the church is distinguished by a mixture of neo-Gothic and Neo-Romanesque elements. Old stained glass windows depict scenes from the life of Jesus.

Once here, you can climb the tower and enjoy the beautiful and unusual view of Dresden.

Roman synagogue received a severed pork head

One of the Roman synagogues received an extremely unpleasant “gift” on the eve of Holocaust remembrance day. According to Italian media, a suspicious bag was delivered to the synagogue in the afternoon. Strasbourg condemns Italy: parents have the right to give their child the name of the mother

Such a decision was made by the European Court. While the Italian judicial authorities rejected the application of a married couple from Lombardy, the European Court of Human Rights affirmed that parents have the right to give their children the name of the mother. Thus, Strasbourg condemned Italy for refusing the couple in this of their right.

Pope named the names of 19 new cardinals

Pope Francis of the evening named the names of 19 priests who will receive a new dignity and become cardinals. He stated that the solemn appointment of clergymen would take place in 9 days, i.e. January 22 in Rome. The pontiff announced his decision on Sunday in the Vatican after he finished reading the prayer “Angelus”.

The Italian made an agreement with her husband and lover

A passionate Italian woman living in the south of the country in the city of Casoria, a province in the Napoli region, found a very original solution to all problems when she realized that she found it difficult to choose between her husband, with whom she had been married for more than 10 years, and lover 10 years younger than her.
